Dr. CourtneyWillis Courtney, M.D.

Dr. Courtney received his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, College of Medicine, Little Rock, Arkansas, in 1988. He performed his internal medicine internship at Emory University School of Medicine, Atlanta, Georgia, from 1988 to 1989. He completed his neurology residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock from 1989 to 1992. Dr. Courtney completed additional post-graduate training when he received an epilepsy fellowship from the Minnesota Epilepsy Group at the United and St. Paul Children's Hospital from 1992 to 1994. In 1995, Dr. Courtney performed a neurosonology fellowship from Wake Forest University, Bowman Gray School of Medicine, Winston Salem, North Carolina.

Dr. Courtney is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) and the American Board of Clinical Neurophysiology (Epilepsy). He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the American Epilepsy Society, the American Medical Association and the Arkansas Medical Society. Dr. Courtney has been serving the Little Rock area through his private neurological practice since 1998. He treats both adults and children, and provides a caring, quality choice for Arkansas' neurological needs.
